SKKI is a pharmaceutical formulation that can be used in place of Lugols Iodine or Iodine to treat thyroid deficiency. It is used off label under medical supervision as a specialised supplement that can be taken up to 50mg daily diluted in water before bed to restore the body’s natural thyroid hormone production.

KI  is used during a nuclear radiation emergency to block radioactive iodine from entering your thyroid gland.

SSKI has been used therapeutically to address hormone imbalances, notably excess Estrogen in the form of Estradiol (E2), via the Estrogen Quotient test, which was created by Dr Henry Lemon, M.D. Additionally, as a result of feedback, it improves and increases the body’s free testosterone levels.

Around 98% percent of testosterone generated in the human body is bound to either Sex-hormone binding globulin (SHBG) or albumin; this is referred to as “bound testosterone.” The remaining 2% is called “free testosterone” or “active testosterone.”

Testosterone that is bound in the body is (inactive); testosterone that is unbound is referred to as free testosterone (active). Because only free testosterone is capable of binding to tissue receptors and exerting its effects, free testosterone is widely regarded as the best indicator of an individual’s androgen status; it is free testosterone levels that demonstrate the anabolic, physiological, and psychological benefits of this sex hormone.

Low testosterone deficiency symptoms are also related with low levels of “free testosterone,” a marker that is frequently overlooked or ignored by blood tests used to detect testosterone deficiency.

Compared to the use of Iodine or Lugols Iodine, SSKI use has been reported to create significantly less, if any, of the problematic side effects that have been noticed and documented with the frequent use of Iodine / Lugols Iodine as a form of supplementation.

All supplements labelled with Iodine or Lugols Iodine are characterised as a synthetic, non-food-based industrial chemical, developed expressly for use as an antibacterial agent (disinfectants and antiseptics). Lugols Iodine and Iodine therefore cannot truly be classed as food or dietary supplement.

As a result, supplements labelled Iodine or Lugols Iodine should not be eaten as a dietary / food supplement.

Directions:

For External Use : To achieve approx 150 μg/mcg of Potassium Iodide. Dilute 3 drops of SSKI to 1 Litre of clean water, you can store this in a glass dropper bottle and apply 1 drop of this solution onto skin, once a day for external use. – For Internal Use : Consult your doctor or a qualified healthcare practitioner.
